What Does a Rapid COVID-19 Test Involve?

The Rapid COVID-19 test is a fast antigen testing that specifically picks up any presence of ACTIVE contagious virus cells.

This test is commonly used in conjunction with a PCR COVID-19 test, which looks for the evidence of virus DNA or RNA being present, but does not necessarily detect if the virus is in the active or contagious stage. Using the two tests together helps our team to better determine the correct treatment plan needed for each patient.

How Much Does It Cost?

There is no out of pocket charges for most insurances, a rapid COVID-19 testing is typically covered by insurances with no co-pay and no deductible.
